| To provide, via the medium of television, a showcase of events, activities and talents of the Australian Jewish Community. To entertain, inform and foster cohesion within the Jewish Community and the broader multicultural Australia in which we live. |
| Production Format |
The Production format has three presenters who introduce the material, interview guests, highlight and comment on events of interest to the Jewish community. Material covers all aspects of Jewish life: Cultural art, music, dance, film; Religious, Political, Sport, Education, Community Services, Food etc.
In accordance with the principles of Channel 31, the content is designed to be inclusive, that is to provide a venue for all viewpoints to be showcased.
The roving camera-man gathers material each week, responding to suggestions of the community and as decided by the production team.
Regular comedy segments include Dr Nathan Serry as Rabbi Mendel Gornisht, Helen Misrachi as 'The Bubba' in Bubbameisas, Daniel Feiber with Sports on the Couch, and Micki Levin-Pell as The Meshpucha Maven.
We are seeking high quality edited material from the community to include in the show. In this way we are providing an opportunity for members of the community to present material on television. |
